Transforming Ourselves Through Prayer
|Reverend Jaganath Carrera|
Prayer is a process of communication and being in a relationship. Being in a relationship with someone increases our understanding both of the one with whom we are in the relationship and of our self. The tendency to develop understanding of our partner in a relationship helps explain why prayer can transform us. When we pray, we form and then deepen our relationship with our Creator. We gradually fine-tune ourselves to the reality of the presence of the Absolute in our heart of hearts and become filled with Divine love and wisdom.
