The Development of Virtues
Reverend Jaganath Carrera
Virtues can be developed in two ways: through study and contemplation and through recognizing them in others. The second way brings challenges and potentially great rewards. It may be easy to see the virtues in a saint, but it takes a real seeker, a real yogi, to look for and find virtues in those who are not perfect, those who annoy us, or those who have done us wrong. Everyone has at least one nice virtue. Find it, reflect on it, see the advantages it brings in life, and soon you will find that same virtue thriving in your own life.
